This residence is designed for a small family, offering comfort within the building itself and its external surroundings. Located in Cimenyan, Bandung, the building harnesses the natural potentials of the site also create a structure with a passive design. The natural features of the site include captivating views of the valley and waterfall. Additionally, the building site receives sunlight throughout the day. In the design, these potentials are leveraged by incorporating expansive openings to maximize natural sunlight and facilitate air circulation within the building. According to our measured analysis, the natural lighting within the building is quite satisfactory, with an AC energy consumption of 7.72 kWh per month, indicating high efficiency. Furthermore, the calculated OTTV (Overall Thermal Transfer Value) reveals that the energy transfer received is 33.55 Watt per square meter, suggesting a cool building temperature and a reduction in energy consumption.
