Story
Ranah Timur Architects was founded by Anton and Regi in late 2019, and legally established as PT Ranah Timur Arsitek in 2020.
The name “Ranah Timur” reflects our commitment to a design approach relevant to Eastern—particularly Indonesian—cultural and environmental characteristics. Ranah means land or place; Timur (the East) represents both a geographical identity and a worldview that respects nature as a partner.
We believe true architecture emerges from a deep understanding of the tropical climate, local wisdom, and the way Indonesians live. This is the foundation of our “Performance Beyond Aesthetic” philosophy.

Ar. Regi Kusnadi, S.T., IAI
Co-founder
As a detail-oriented person, Regi has an interest in tectonics in architecture, particularly in craftsmanship and building materials. He believes every project is unique, so he takes a role to develop architectural detail in every single RTR project.
Before starting RTR Architects, Regi has sufficient experience in designing lots of residential and private housing projects in one of the best architectural firm in Jakarta. He expanded his knowledge and capabilities about details through some experiences at construction site.

Co-founder
As co-founder of RTR Architects, Anton has a role to create design principle in macro context to ensure the performance of the building. In previous years before starting RTR Architects, he worked at top level architecture firm in Jakarta and got internship in London with various scale of projects from interior, architecture, and urban design.
In addition, he succeeded to lead RTR Architects win some prestigious design competition in national scale and get recognition from different media and press.
